I'm working on some bugs that are related to AudioMidiSync:

  1. Setting the Start Time to anything other than 0 caused the notes to burst emit.

  2. Setting the speed to anything other than 1 caused weirdness with the notes being emitted.

  3. Sliding the play slider backwards in play mode made "all the things" get out of sync.

I'm hoping to have this along with the new PianoRoll released before next year.

I'm currently working on a new script called the PianoRoll. This will completely replace the current NoteStripEmitterHandler. The goal is to make it extremely easy to create a piano roll style animation.

Hi everyone, I am happy to announce that prefabs should no longer be an issue with Sound Reactor. I had been advising people to avoid them since it was causing any component associated with Sound Reactor to duplicate. I couldn't figure it out for the longest time, but alas, I narrowed it down to the feature that enables you to edit properties in Play Mode.


Now that the issue has been fixed, prefabs will never be considered when remembering properties changed during Play Mode. This is OK because prefabs are supposed to be locked down anyway. Any further tweaks to a prefabbed visualizer can be made to the prefab itself.
